Interface Cultures Das Konzept dieses Projektes ist es alte Mediengeräte zu verwenden um eine Soundperformance zu realisieren. Monica Vlad wird eine Nähmaschine, zwei Radios, ein Tonbandgerät, einen Kassettenspieler / Walkman, einen Turntable und eine Vintage Kamera benutzen. Alle Geräte sind mit einem Mischer verbunden. Kontakt-Mikrofone werden verwendet um den Ton von einigen Geräten zu verwenden und zu verstärken, und um den Ton von der vibrierenden Oberfläche von einigen anderen Geräten zu nehmen. Die anderen Geräte sind direkt mit dem Mischer verbunden. Vlad hat auch eine Kassettenbandschleife erstellt, die als analoge Schleife dient. Analoge Effekte werden auf die meisten Geräte angewendet. Die "neuen" Instrumente werden nacheinander gespielt, um den Sound für die Performance zu schaffen. The concept of this project is to use old media devices to create a sound performance. Monica Vlad will use a sewing machine, two radios, one tape recorder, a cassette player/Walkman, a turntable and a vintage camera. All the devices are connected to the mixer. Contact microphones are used to take the sound from some devices and amplify it , and piezo to take the sound from the vibrating surface of some other devices. The other devices are directly connected to the mixer . Vlad also created a cassette tape loop that serves as an analog loop. Analog effects are applied to most of the devices. The “new” instruments are played sequentially to create the sound for the performance. Exhibition at: IC at ars electronica 2017, Linz, Austria
