What is poster for tomorrow?
An independent, non-profit international project (founded 2009) whose goal is to encourage people, both in and outside the design community, to make posters to stimulate debate on issues that affect us all.
This year our activities were focused on promoting the right to education all over the world, regardless of race, gender, disability or economic situation.
Every year poster for tomorrow chooses a basic human right to draw attention to. (2009 – Freedom of Expression, 2010 – Universal Abolition of Death Penalty).
We then invite the global design community to make posters on this theme that are exhibited around the world on International Human Rights Day, December 10th.
Exhibition "poster for tomorrow"
On 10/12/11, International Human Rights Declaration anniversary we'll hold our first "day for tomorrow", a series of exhibitions opening simultaneously around the world, lead by our main exhibition in Paris at Les Arts Decoratifs. All the exhibitions will display the 100 best posters as selected by our jury for our "Right to Education" competition.
