Study and Admission
Bachelor Programmes
Duration of Programmes: 6 Semesters
Admission to the programmes is contingent on the submission of proof of artistic aptitude by means of the successfully passed qualifying examination as well as – additionally for the disciplines Architecture and Industrial Design – a secondary school-leaving certificate (“Matura”).
Master Programmes
Duration of Programmes: 4 Semesters
Admission to the programmes is contingent on general university entrance qualification, a completed bachelor programme in the respective discipline as well as the successfully passed qualifying examination documenting artistic aptitude (with the exception of the master programme for Media Culture and Art Theories).
Diploma Programmes
Study programmes for art and design teachers Duration of programmes: 9 semesters
Admission to the programmes is contingent on the submission of proof of artistic aptitude by means of the successfully passed qualifying examination as well as a secondary school-leaving certificate (“Matura”).
Fine Arts
Duration of Programmes: 8 Semesters
Admission to the programmes is contingent on the submission of proof of artistic aptitude by means of the successfully passed qualifying examination.
Doctoral Programmes
Duration of Programme: 6 Semesters
Doctoral programmes are curricula aimed at evolving the students’ ability to conduct independent scientific work.
