Interface Cultures Uterus ist eine dreidimensionale Licht- und Toninstallation, die es BesucherInnen ermöglicht ihren eigenen emotionalen Lebensraum zu erkunden.
Das Projekt geht über den Begriff der Emotionalität hinaus. "Etwas Inneres" wird ausgedrückt durch "etwas Äußeres". Kodierung und Dekodierung sind Teile des emotionalen Prozesses selbst. Dies deutet auf die Frage nach emotionaler Artikulation hin.
Die Arbeit macht es möglich die Beziehung zwischen dem eigenen körperlichen Zustand und Emotionen zu erforschen, unter Berücksichtigung der Verknüpfung von geistiger Gesundheit und dem Sein. Wir erreichen die Idee der "Sicherheit". BesucherInnen können in der Installation ihren Platz erkunden. Gleich dem Instinkt eines Kindes sollen sie jenen Punkt finden in dem sie sich ausdrücken können.
Uterus is a three dimensional light and sound installation, giving the opportunity to have sensorial experiences of your own emotional habitat.
Going beyond concepts of emotionality as ‘something inner’ expressed by ‘something outer’, encoding and decoding are parts of the emotional process themselves. This suggests the question of emotional articulations, the relation between cognition and sensory-motor aspects of habitualised emotions, and their relation to the imaginary as well as proprioception.
Exploring the relation between body conditions and feelings, considering the simultaneous character of our mental health and being. We reach the idea of "safeness". Such as the child’s instinct to find a place to hide out, as a grown up version of us, we should find this points in between where we can freely express ourselves.
