Interface Cultures "Ametropia" is an interactive video installation in which a text is displayed following eye chart rules. The font size scales according to the distance between the participant and the text. When the reader goes for a closer look, the ontotypes become smaller. Any wish to fully read the text, will remain unsatisfied. Playing with sensory expectation, "Ametropia" aims to create a moment of reflection in the participant´s approach to art. Exhibition at: IC at ars electronica 2012, Linz, Austria "Ametropia" ist eine interaktive Videoinstallation, in der ein Text im Stil einer Optiker-Sehtafel angezeigt wird. Die Schriftgröße skaliert abhängig vom Abstand zwischen dem Besucher / der Besucherin und dem Text. Wenn sich der Leser / die Leserin dem Text nähert werden die Ontotypes am Display kleiner. Der Wunsch, den Text vollständig zu lesen, wird unbefriedigt bleiben. Im Spielen mit den sensorischen Erwartungen zielt "Ametropia" auf einen Moment der Reflexion der TeilnehmerInnen im Zugang zur Kunst ab.
