Choi’s recent projects include Han Youngsoo: Photographs of Seoul 1956–63 at ICP, New York (2017); Why Future Still Needs Us: AI and Humanity at Art Center Nabi (2016–17); BIAN, at Arsenal Montreal (2016); Mediacity Seoul 2012 Biennale, at the Seoul Museum of Art; and ZERO1 Biennial 2012, at Zero1 Garage in San Jose, California.

In the age of the Blockchain, Big Data, Machine Learning, Robots and VR/AR, the creativity of artists is being challenged. The machine emerges as an amplified collaborator or a creator. At the same time, it is obvious that human artistic creativity is gaining more attention than ever before to meet the need of the times. Emerging Practices in Art and Technology will broaden the understandings about the new practices in media arts that raise questions for not only the potential but also the limitations of current technology.
