THE FUTURE OF INDUSTRIAL DESIGN
How do we design today? How will we design tomorrow?

Industrial Design invites you to a lecture by Christian Colceriu.

Over the years, classic industrial design for capital goods has developed into an approach that combines two disciplines: design and psychology. Under the title "Human-Centered Design", design should lead to solutions that meet the needs of users. And along the entire value chain.

Christian Colceriu studied Industrial Design at the University of Art and Design Linz from 2007 to 2012. Following his studies, Colceriu worked at suma film from 2012 to 2018 as a designer for various development departments at Krones AG, where he designed products and contributed to their implementation. From 2018 to 2020, he worked in corporate communications at Krones AG and developed cross-departmental communication strategies. Christian Colceriu has been working in the Research and Development department at Krones since 2020. There he coordinates the Krones Design Lab, which was founded in 2024. In this role, he leads a team of students from the fields of industrial design and cognitive psychology who support development projects from research and development through human-centered design. Since March 2023, he has also been a lecturer at the Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg and teaches various methods in the "Technology and Management" seminar on how students can develop innovative start-up concepts.
