The Research and Performance Database (FLDB) is used to document artistic and academic activities at the University of Arts Linz. Among other things, it is the basis for the preparation of the annual intellectual capital report. The FLDB is thus an instrument for reporting and thus for quality management.

In addition, the FLDB serves to make the services provided by employees at the University of Arts Linz visible and to represent the diversity of artistic and academic activities at the University of Arts Linz. One of the ways in which this is done is via the bibliographical evidence available on the Internet (see links), which must be provided in accordance with the 2010 Intellectual Capital Report Regulation on staff publications.

Since 2009, activities have been recorded online via ufg. Every employee is required to record their own achievements. The "FLDB Manual" (see Downloads) provides step-by-step instructions. If questions or problems still arise, the quality management team can provide assistance at any time.
